Second purchase of the weekend...

Having felt a bit chilly the last couple of times we've been camping, I decided it was time to invest in a thicker sleeping bag. Unfortunately, it's not the 450 quid duck-down filled job that I was lovingly fondling in Tisos a couple of weeks back, but it is pretty damn cosy. Apparently it's suitable for temperatures of -22C, but it felt just about perfect when I was huddled up in it doing my Japanese homework earlier on.

The only real problem is that I can't actually get out of it without assistance...

No, I don't know why either. It's meant to be an instructional photograph illustrating the correct use of a sleeping bag, not something for your amusement!

If you stay cocooned in there long enough, will you emerge as a fairy?

I used to have a really good vango one years ago, until i went climbing up dumbarton rock and dropped my rucksack of the cliff. by accident. Never found it again.
